Tennis/Pickleball Court Update

Updated: Sep 11, 2023

You may have noticed recently that the tennis courts look like they've gotten a new coat of paint. Actually, instead of paint, our own Tony Casieri from the Tennis Committee was able to restore the existing lines and overall surface by applying cleaning agents and performing a thorough pressure wash. This effort was quite involved and was completed over the course of a few weekends and too many hours to count.

In addition, court 1 has had new pickleball lines added and 2 portable nets installed. These changes significantly enhance the options for playing both tennis and pickleball.

By volunteering to take on this job, the neighborhood was able to avoid moving ahead on some costly estimates from various tennis court maintenance firms.

This is another example of Rivers Edge Association committee volunteers going out of their way to make our neighborhood special while keeping a close eye on costs.

As we approach our annual neighborhood meeting in a few weeks, please consider joining a committee to lend a hand and maybe make some new friends along the way!
